Sekhmet

My second illustration in Illustration 6. This is part of my BFA, which will be two illustrations covering the concept of humans that embody deiteis. For this piece a chose to have Sekhmet, the Egyptian Goddess of War embody a Japanese girl known as a Sukeban, or a delinquint girl. They are often the leaders of a group of gang girls, so I made the connection that they a warriors in their own way. Thus, Sukemet was born! Haha, I just came up with that one.

I will likely start selling prints of this when I finally set up a site and start going to cons and other events. I will keep you all up to date on when that will begin, as of now however I am still quite busy.

As an artist that is about to graduate and start my career on my own, I really want to be able to share my work, but I also worry about art theft.
I work very hard on all my stuff and I put everything I have into completing these and making them look the best I possibly can.
